Just got back from guatelinda. Amazing Guatemalan food. The best fried Beans I ever had in Los Angeles. I had pollo con crema, and it was amazing. I will be definitely be going back with friends. Best Guatemalan food in LA!
I ate here last weekend with a group of 15 people and had a great time. There was live music, the staff was attentive to our needs, and we were made to feel very welcomed. The restaurant is family-owned and we were able to talk with some of the owners during our visit. They were celebrating their grand opening weekend and in high spirits. The food was delicious! It is all home-cooked traditional Guatemalen cuisine. I recommend the Tamal appetizer or the Carne Asada main dish. And the atmosphere is so inviting! Spacious, classy decor, and full of life. My friends were fans; and so am I. Definitely coming back.
I ate here this past Sunday and had such a wonderful time. This seems to be a family owned business and I am so glad that they have opened up something new to Los Angeles. There was a live performance by the bartender and the service was excellent. So glad me and my buddy stopped in for a bite. We had a few of their select appetizers that were so authentic and home cooked. LOVED EVERY DISH!!! I highly recommend visiting this restaurant to any one interested in a taste of Guatemala, entertainment, dancing, a drink or just plain out good food! Cheers to this fine restaurant for their opening and much success!
